Maple Grove Child Safety and Bike Rodeo

Attend the Maple Grove Clinics Child Safety Fair and Bike Rodeo on 9 a.m. to noon May 19.

At the Maple Grove Clinics Child Safety Fair and Bike Rodeo, learn valuable children’s health and safety tips from 30 community experts who will:

-Talk with parents and provide information to keep their kids safe on land an in the water.

-Offer free bike inspections.

-Offer safety demonstrations – such as bike rodeo.

-Offer Teddy Bear Clinic sponsored by Maple Grove Hospital.

-Offer the Mason’s KidsID program to help authorities find missing children.

Participate in fun activities, including karate demonstrations and get a close-up look at a helicopter, ambulance, fire trucks, ground ambulances and police cars. Local health and law enforcement professionals will be on hand to discuss the vehicles and answer questions about safety.

Physicians and health professionals affiliated with the University of Minnesota Medical School and the Maple Grove Clinics will be there to answer health and medical questions, including: allergists, audiologists, infection control specialties, pharmacists, pediatric rehabilitation specialists and sports medicine specialists.
